Well, here we have a new President in the U.S.A.

How will Barack handle Russia, North Korea, Venezuela, Cuba and
Russia?

Do you think the sitting down with these country's leaders and breaking
some bread, comparing "Wish Lists" will be helpful in thawing out
our current relationships?

What positives will he bring to the table? What are the negatives, besides
lack of international experience.

Bush's surrogates have been doing this for some time so perhaps the President Elect will have better luck!
"Lack of international experience" is not really a factor if State Dept/and other organizations are coordinated in presenting the same findings, the united front of coherent policy will surely help despite the predicament the country has placed itself. Draining the pond would be better than trying to extract the alligators.
No doubt the President elect is the least experienced of all the previous contenders (maybe except Kennedy-not sure) but that is part of what makes USA great. The plumber and the janitor can take part in the process as put forth by the great forfathers and represent the populace based on the vison and the votes of the people, for the people and by the people!

As long as capable citizens are selected based on their qualifications then better for the country in the long run.

A President sitting down with leaders of rogue nations without pre-conditions only gives credibility to the thugs.
