Name Jack. fairly simple background for the last few years has been in instruction. The organisation I am with taught a few SIA level courses but gave it up when we found it would have been commercially unviable to fail guys that we considerted unsuitable. We were faced with three choices that was let guys cheat on tests and take the money, pass guys that were not cut out for it or leave this sector of the market. We did the latter. What I do now is stick with the bigger organisation training their in house staff. We use there own people normally in the guarding service that can be selected to go to the next level in the security organisation or people that are nominated by the company. I handle Close Protection, teaching the BSI level protection. Wha I found with the SIA syllubus was it is partual and incomplete for the industry so we just do the BSI. On the heavier stuff I have ran a few courses in the USA mainly for police SWAT guys and may be returning to handle more training. Thats about it folks.

My name is Stanton, ex-Marine and have been in another industry for the past 20 years. Have been doing some local close protection assignments lately and looking to update awareness through further education and exposure through IACSP.
