First Responders Listen Up!

Dear First Responders,
I want to make sure that you know about this year’s America’s Most Wanted All-Star Program. AMW is now in its 23rd season, and in that time I’ve been blessed with the opportunity to work with some truly amazing people. With each passing year, my respect only grows for all the police, firefighters, EMTs, and other first responders who dedicate themselves to serving the public on the front lines. These brave men and women are truly All-Stars in my book.
For the sixth year in a row, we've teamed up with Sprint to find a way to honor these amazing people, by creating the AMW All-Star Awards. In the past five years, we received an overwhelming response and heard some great stories about these All-Stars, and we’re expecting that to be the case this year, too. Through online voting, we’ll recognize one All-Star Finalist each week for eight weeks. Each Finalist will receive a special selection of AMW gear, and will be entered in the voting for the grand prize: $10,000 and a trip to the NASCAR SPRINT Cup Series™ All-Star Challenge in May.
You can nominate any first responder All-Star you know at our website, www.amw.com/allstar, beginning on February 3rd, 2010. Our website will include information about every accepted nominee. Be sure to get the word out to your community – anyone can nominate an All-Star candidate, and anyone can vote for their favorite All-Star. Nominations are open until April 3rd, 2010 and voting for our finalists runs until April 11th; Grand Prize winner voting will run from April 15th to May 3rd.
This is a great opportunity for you and your community to give your fellow first responders the recognition an All-Star deserves!
